AustinPeopleWorks is Hiring a Remote Senior Tax Accountant
Our client, a rapidly expanding CPA firm, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant to join their dynamic team. Our client offers a fantastic work environment with a true work-life balance. The ideal candidate will have:
- CPA license required
- 10 years of experience working directly with business owners in various industries on their financials
- 10 years of experience in preparing and reviewing tax returns, including 1040, 1120S, 1065, 1120, and 990
- 5 years of experience in delivering tax returns to clients, meeting with them, and providing tax advice, especially to small business owners
- 5 years of experience working with QuickBooks software, including experience resolving client errors and problems in the software. Preferably a QuickBooks Pro Advisor
The ideal candidate should be:
- An excellent communicator who loves building and maintaining fantastic client relationships
- Knowledgeable of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
- Well-versed with the issues facing small business owners
- Familiar with tax software, preferably UltraTax
- Highly literate in computer skills and paperless office procedures
- Excellent analytical and time management skills
- Committed to continuing education in tax matters
