Tarvos Talent is partnering with a client in need of a hybrid Sales Tax Accountant! The hiring process is moving quickly and interviews will be scheduled ASAP. This is an open ended contract to hire position with an immediate start date! Strong excel skills are a must, and experience with SAP & Vertex is preferred. The ideal candidate is a team player and eager to start a new role.

Responsibilities:

• Focusing on sales and use, property and GST taxes.
• Stay up-to-date with current tax laws that affect the company.
• Assist in income tax audits.
• Analyze tax implications of mergers and acquisitions.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics/Statistics.
• At least four years of experience in an Accounting or similar role.
• Advanced proficiency in using Excel.
• Must be a self-starter with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to collaborate effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $57,366.33 - $69,086.34 per year
