Description
Atlas Companies is currently hiring a full-time Payroll and Benefits Specialist. Our ideal candidate is highly motivated and has a strong knowledge of automated HRIS and payroll software.
The Atlas Companies consists of Atlas Bobcat, Atlas Toyota Material Handling, Atlas First Access and Atlas Badger ToyotaLift. We are an authorized Bobcat Dealer, Toyota Forklift Dealer, and also provide a variety of other material handling and warehouse solutions for companies of all sizes.
Your New Role:
- Manages the payroll and benefits transactions of the company.
- Payroll Processing:
o Accurately process and maintain multi-state payroll, including calculation of wages, overtime, and deductions.
o Ensure compliance with all federal and state payroll regulations.
o Address payroll inquiries and discrepancies promptly and professionally.
o Ad hoc reporting and auditing.
- Benefits Administration:
o Administer benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and other ancillary benefits.
o Assist employees with benefits-related questions and concerns.
o Facilitate the enrollment and termination processes for employees in benefit programs.
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Associate degree, 4-year degree preferred.
- Proven experience in HR, benefits, and payroll administration, including in-depth knowledge of payroll regulations and HRIS software.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using Paylocity is a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Acts with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Dependable and punctual.
