Description

 We are currently hiring a full-time Parts Driver. This role will be responsible for the delivery and pick-up of parts, supplies and products for the Parts Department in a timely, safe, and professional manner. This position will be a primary point of contact between the parts department, service department and customer.

Your New Role: 

• Follows all safety and conduct rules, works safely and operates motor vehicle in a safe manner at all times.
• Reports any problems or needed repairs to the delivery vehicle to the Parts or Warehouse Manager immediately. 
• Attends all mandatory monthly vehicle and safety meetings. 
• Responsible for keeping the delivery vehicle clean (inside and out) at the end of each day maintaining the driver’s packet in the company vehicle.
• Responsible for keeping any drops supplied with needed paperwork for the field technicians and report any issues found at any drop. 
• Responsible for confirming the accuracy of any items being delivered to a customer, branch or technician. Reports any delivery issues immediately to the Parts Manager or Warehouse Manager. 
• Required to load and/or unload orders and operate a forklift as needed. 
• Responsible for ensuring that all deliveries are secure before they are made. 
• Required to make sure all paperwork is signed for as needed and returned to the department or persons needed. 
• Assist in any parts department work as needed.

Requirements

What You’ll Need to Succeed: 

• Must maintain and have a valid Minnesota driver’s license.
• Strong communication skills
• High level of organizational skills
• Basic computer skills. Experience with Microsoft Office products a plus.
• Forklift experience preferred, will be required to maintain a forklift operator permit.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs. unassisted. 

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• This position requires but is not limited to standing, bending, crouching, twisting, pulling, pushing, and lifting to 80 lbs., routinely 20-50 lbs.
