Executive Assistant Job Description
Atlanta Jewish Academy, a PreSchool-12th grade private Jewish school, is seeking a Full-Time Executive Assistant to support the Head of School and the Administrative Team. The position officially begins on July 15, 2024, however, we would prefer to have the new hire join our team between May 13 and June 20 on a per diem basis if possible for training and orientation. As a school, AJA fosters a learning environment centered on relevance, engagement, and intellectual curiosity. The Executive Assistant will join a collegial and supportive team of school professionals. The position requires nearly 100% on-site hours and is not a remote job.
The Executive Assistant must be effective in planning, prioritizing and executing tasks in a timely manner. They must also exhibit skills in building & maintaining strong relationships both internally & externally. The ideal candidate is both approachable & respectful, comfortable with new technology such as the Veracross Data Management System, scheduling and calendar software such as one finds in the Google suite, and virtual meeting platforms like Zoom. We seek someone who is both an initiative-taker and can get the job done with little supervision and who also reads the room and understands when to ask for help and further instruction.
Responsibilities (examples, not a complete and exhaustive list):
In general this professional will NOT be asked to do personal errands for members of the Administrative Team.
Pay range: $39,000.00 - $50,000.00 per yearBenefits:
