Job Description
Job Summary:
The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the physician’s, NP and PA’s, device, and patient’s schedules. They are a liaison between the patients, providers, staff, health plans, and the community at large. This position is responsible for front office duties and appointment scheduling as required by the clinic.
Essential Functions:
Determines total charges for visits and calculates patient financial responsibility per established policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1-year of related experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to sit for long periods of time, must have the manual dexterity to work computer systems and keyboard.
· Must be able to have face-to-face conversations with patients and staff.
· Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in an office, laboratory, and/or clinic environment. This is a full-time position, and full-time is defined as 40 hours per work week.
