Health Center Workforce Well-being Technical
Assistance Initiative : Training Specialist
is a fast-growing organization filled with mission-driven people committed to
improving the health of America’s underserved populations and supporting the
clinicians serving these populations. We’re looking for someone equally
committed to that cause who can help support ACU’s Health Center Workforce
Well-being Technical Assistance Initiative. The Training Specialist will
assist in developing and implementing training and technical assistance to
health centers to improve provider and staff well-being and improve burnout.
ideal candidate is highly organized, proficient in time management, and possess
excellent interpersonal communication skills. The candidate will have experience
in meeting facilitation, adult learning principles and modalities, and
workforce matters such as workforce resiliency, recruitment and retention and
leadership development. The candidate Will have expertise in drafting
communications including emails and newsletters. The ACU offices are
located in Washington, D.C.
Duties and
Responsibilities
Assist in developing and executing webinars regarding ways in which workforce
wellbeing can be incorporated within an organization’s strategic plan in order
to facilitate cultural change
Assist with and conduct one-on-one coaching calls with health center leadership
on creation and implementation of their workforce wellbeing strategy
Assist with and conduct program assessments on a variety of topics including assistance with diversity, equity, and inclusion programs or
other workforce programs, assistance with the implementation of the employee
well-being strategy, toolkits, the adoption of workforce well-being as part of
the health center’s strategic plan and
recommended strategies to support individualized workforce wellbeing
Assist with and conduct virtual technical assistance office hours sessions on
best practices to support staff wellbeing
Assist with the creation of case study presentations that provide an in-depth
examination of the issues, challenges, and solutions to promote health center
workforce well-being and burnout
Engage subject matter experts to develop resources on workforce resiliency and
staff well-being

Qualifications for
Position
BS degree preferred Experience may be substituted for a degree.
At least 2 years of experience providing support for virtual and online
trainings
Demonstrated understanding of the unique issues in delivering health care to
underserved populations and strategies to support provider resiliency preferred
Commitment to justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software programs, including Word, Excel, and
PowerPoint
Proficiency with G-Suite programs
Strong team collaboration and interpersonal skills
Self-directed
Creative problem-solving skills
