General purpose of the job
Packhouse: Responsible for all day to day activities of the office including but not limited to Department of Transport (DOT) Weigh Masters, Rail Tracking, Rail Demand, Rail Deployments, Problem or Customer Issue Solving, Reconciliation of Daily Bill of Lading’s (BOL’s)
Storeroom: Assist with maintaining organization of stores and interface with plant personnel. Individual accountabilities
Shipping:
  • Shipping and Receiving experience desired.
  • Must possess good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience interacting/communicating verbally and electronically daily with customers, sales and vendors .
  • Experienced in dealing with Truck / Rail and customer issues.
  • Demonstrated experience simultaneously managing multiple and complicated situations and solving issues which arrive daily in an office environment.
  • Must be organized and attention to detail is a must.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team to ensure continuous improvement in their functional area as well as the overall Company operations.
  • Excellent people skills.
  • Excellent Verbal and Written skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently without supervision.
  • Duties as assigned by supervisor.
Storeroom:
  • Responsible for receiving, stocking, and issuing all parts into and out of inventory.
  • Receiving inventory parts and maintaining the stores warehouse.
  • Notifies Stores Supervisor regarding damaged freight and/or delivery disputes.
  • Handle delivery errors with Vendors.
  • Ensure parts identification and labeling.
  • Counter service.
  • Handle Vendor returns.
  • Complete the setup of new items in SAP system.
  • Run and fill pick lists.
  • Participate in inventory accuracy and cycle count process.
  • Barcoding and labeling.
  • Vending Machine coordination.
  • Stores organization and cleanup.
  • Ensures that the Item Master inventories are accurate including scheduling cycle counts so that all items are counted one (1) time per year and insurance items are counted two (2) times per year per finance requirements.
  • Ensures that parts balance with inventory count. Education
Must have High School Diploma or equivalent. Some college experience would be desired. Area of experience
  • 5 year’s of administrative experience, in a fast-paced construction industry setting.

  • Strong Computer Skills.
