Staff Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly reconciliations and journal entries for assigned general ledger accounts, as well as, ad hoc reports/schedules
• Perform monthly close activities timely, including variance analyses for assigned accounts
• Assist management with budgeting and forecasting results and cash needs.
• Assist other team members troubleshooting accounts, payables and receivables
• Prepare and assist in preparing various tax reporting schedules
• Assist management with maintaining and implementing accounting policies and procedures
• Support internal and external audit requests and deliverables
• Implement process efficiencies wherever possible

What we require:

• Honesty & Integrity
• Can perform when pressed with quality and consistence while meeting schedule requirements
• Analytical skills
• Attention to Detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft offices tools including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience
• Strong interpersonal skills / work well with others in an open environment in a team atmosphere
• College degree in accounting or relevant field
• Knowledge of ERP systems and Access Database helpful
