- Document and record all cash inflows and outflows accurately to the general ledger.
- Proactively and independently investigate and resolve discrepancies and irregularities in cash transactions.
- Collaborate with various departments and external partners to gather financial information to properly record and understand cash transactions.
- Reconcile credit card transactions.
- Perform responsibilities in compliance with accounting principles, policies, and regulations.
- Provide support during financial and bank audits by providing cash-related documentation and information.
- Drive internal process improvements and execute corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with the Finance Team to create and manage cash budgets as needed.
- Preparation of internal account reconciliations
- Maintain organized financial records and clearly communicate financial information to upper management to support strategic decision making.
- Assist the Accounting Manager in leading the preparation and execution of the monthly financial accounting close process.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting - CPA a plus.
- A minimum of 3 years accounting experience.
- Ability to accurately define problems, access data, establish facts, solve problems, draw conclusions, provide solutions, and make meaningful recommendations in a timely manner.
- Solid analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and make appropriate recommendations.
- Very strong Excel skills, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis tools.
- Commitment to continuous process improvement.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, financial reporting tools, and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work collaboratively, managing multiple priorities and driving for deadlines.
