American Leadership Academy is accepting applications for an Administrative Assistant for the 2023-2024 academic school year at our Signal Butte Elementary campus. Candidates must possess, or be willing to obtain, a valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card.

The Administrative Assistant performs a variety of administrative functions within the front office. The Administrative Assistant is expected to demonstrate a commitment to service excellence, innovation, student success, integrity, and diversity in the performance of job duties.

Essential Functions:

• Provides comprehensive customer service for students, families and staff
• Provides daily support to Student Services department
• Manages multiple projects, schedules, answer student and parent questions
• Handles student inquiries and utilizes appropriate software and technology in order to execute position responsibilities
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Experience in an educational setting
• A passion for education and working with students, staff, and families
• Excellent planning, time management, and organizational skills
• Exemplary customer service skills and a collaborative working style
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• High standards, attention to detail, confidentiality and accuracy
• Computer skills, MS Office, school programs helpful but not required
• Respectful, kind, warm, professional and approachable
