AMDA is Hiring a Philanthropy Operations Coordinator Near New York, NY

Description
The Philanthropy Operations Coordinator is an essential member of the Philanthropy
Operations team that manages the CRM database, data, and operations for the
Philanthropy division.
This role takes ownership of constituent data management, data integrity, and gift
processing. This role handles the day-to-day needs of data and gifts. Candidates must be comfortable
in a start-up environment where fundraising efforts will scale and the constituent base
will grow.
•Takes ownership of constituent data management and integrity efforts.
•Maintains internal processes related to gift processing and coding to ensure gifts
are processed and received in a timely manner.
•Receives, evaluates, and enters gifts daily into our Little Green Light (LGL)
fundraising CRM database in a timely manner in accordance with Philanthropy's
48-hour turnaround receipting/acknowledgment policy.
•Enters all donations (e.g., cash, credit card, stock, online, gifts-in-kind,
peer-to-peer, pledges, pledge payments, planned gifts, etc.) into LGL by
assigning appropriate donor and gift codes.
•Commit and report all gifts to the Finance Office for the General Ledger.
•Reconcile all gifts monthly using LGL Reports with Finance.
•Accurately receipt and acknowledge all gifts as appropriate in accordance with
applicable Philanthropy policies.
•Provide routine reporting, such as for gifts entered and open pledges.
•Review open pledges monthly and send reminders as needed.
•Add new constituent records into LGL and maintain data standardization.
•Update constituent records (e.g., addresses, marriages, deaths, etc.) upon
receipt of notice of any changes.
•Maintain ongoing updates on constituent records for graduates, parents, new
students, and other records.
•Create and maintain online fundraising donation forms and acknowledgement
templates.
•Generate queries, exports, and imports upon request.
•Perform related duties as assigned within the scope of practice.

Required Skills/Abilities:
•Demonstrated knowledge of the principles and practices of nonprofit fundraising
and Philanthropy Operations, gift processing, data and records management.
•Previous experience with fundraising CRM databases, preferably Little Green
Light (LGL) or other CRM databases such as Raiser's Edge NXT, Bloomerang,
Neon, or Salsa CRM.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong customer service
orientation and ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of people.
•Excellent organizational skills, including prioritizing and managing multiple tasks,
and meeting deadlines.
•Ability to exercise critical thinking skills to prepare solution-driven approaches to
complex problems.
•Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
•Commitment to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of diversity, equity,
and inclusivity.
Education and Experience:
•Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
•Previous supervisory experience preferred.
•At least 2 years' experience in relational databases, gift processing, and/or
nonprofits strongly preferred.

Physical Requirements:
•Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
•Communicating with others to exchange information.
•Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm (PT or ET)
Salary Range: $65,000-75,000 annually
