alpitronic Americas LLC is Hiring a Service Manager Near Charlotte, NC

Job Summary:

Establishment of the US-wide after-sales service, including remote, on-site service by alpitronic and third parties (partners); In this role, the aim is to build up the service department as a business unit with P L responsibility in a timely manner (12 months).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic establishment and further development of the entire after-sales service area into a profit center.
  • Further development of the KPl-based service area for continuous improvement of efficiency and quality.
  • Lead both service sales to acquire new business as well as service execution strategy for both warranty and post-warranty support. Lead strategy creation and execution of full-service P&L.
  • Continuation of digitization with the necessary IT system components to further increase the degree of automation in the area of service.
  • Team-oriented management and control of the service area and control of external service providers.
  • Responsible for ensuring quality in service and supply chain management
  • Ensuring high-performance, future-oriented and sustainable customer support in service matters; close cooperation with the sales department to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Independent responsibility for the service budget, compliance with KPls, costs and achievement of profit targets.
  • Pioneer in structural and procedural ways of thinking and “on the job" coaching of the team.

Qualifications:

  • Completed technical studies – ideally bachelors degree in electrical engineering, potentially with additional training in business administration.
  • (7-10 years) in after-sales service with a track record, experience in the field of electromobility infrastructure is an advantage.
  • At least three years of management experience.
  • Experience in dealing with international customers.
  • Experience in project and process management as well as in the implementation of KPl's.
  • Experience in strategic planning and implementation of strategic changes.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office programs.
  • Comfortable with software and outdoor electrical apparatus.
