About the Role
This person raises support and awareness for the work that Aloha United Ways does by building, maintaining, and growing workplace giving campaigns. Develop and implement strategies that will steward relationships with employees from local businesses, including holding educational forums, presenting in front of groups, and going to a workplace and participating in fundraising activities with the client. In addition, they execute creative strategies to assure sustained growth, building a knowledge bank of Standard Operation Procedures that maximize and increase fundraising to maintain a culture of gratitude and growth. This person must have existing positive relationships with business and community leaders on Oahu and be part of a strong network connected to our local professional community.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Solicits individual and corporate investments on behalf of Aloha United Way through year-round management of an account portfolio to meet or exceed annual fundraising goal. Responsible for processing of donations and data entry of account maintenance.
· Develops new or enhanced business partnerships through in-person, phone, email, and digital communications.
· Is responsible for a geographic island defined by water with accounts spanning the entire island with personal meetings, deliveries of supplies and demonstrations being a must for success in the role.
· Works with Vice President to execute the fundraising strategy encompassing department goals and objectives. Programs include donor recognition, maximizing leadership giving, major gifts, planned giving, grants, retiree solicitation, top 100 accounts, and others as assigned.
· Articulates the mission and vision of Aloha United Way and community impact work to diverse companies and community audiences through in-person and online group presentations and individual meetings.
· Delivers exceptional customer service by responding to donor questions and resolving issues in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner.
· Tracks account progress and provides reports both written and oral for account portfolio on a regular basis. Forecast's revenue projections and monitors progress of accounts.
· Collects data on the campaign, evaluates results, and proposes recommendations.
· Implements best practices when utilizing the fundraising platforms and donor database system to maximize efficiency and explores and provides recommendations on additional revenue opportunities.
· During campaign season, provide goals and supervises Community Executives in daily tasks.
· Supports a positive team environment through active participation in team-related activities.
· Occasionally attends special events outside of normal business hours.
· Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements for the Role
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, or Public Relations, or Sales preferred. MBA or related field degree desired, and/or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
