Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Guest Service Agent. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their stay. Duties:
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide them with a warm welcome
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Process reservations and manage room assignments
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and transactions
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure guest needs are met
- Perform night audit duties as required
- Operate phone systems and handle incoming calls with proper phone etiquette
- Assist with front desk duties, including cash handling and balancing of daily transactions
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hotel management or hospitality management is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations
- Knowledge of night audit procedures is an asset
- Familiarity with phone systems and front desk operations
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in multiple languages is a plus
