Alo Yoga is Hiring a Benefits Coordinator Near Los Angeles, CA

Overview: The Benefits Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs. This will include group health, FSA, disability, life insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits. The position will play a critical role in ensuring that the organization’s employee benefits programs are administered effectively. This position will be located in our corporate office in Beverly Hills and will report to the Benefits Manager.
Responsibilities:

  • Administer employee benefits for US and Global programs such as medical, dental, vision, FSA, retirement plans, disability, life insurance, wellness programs, etc.
  • Facilitate the enrollment process for new hires, qualifying life events, and annual open enrollment.
  • Respond to employee benefit inquiries in the Benefits email box.
  • Generate standard reports and assist with audits, compliance, and documentation.
  • Review, audit, and process benefit-related invoices.
  • Work closely with Payroll, HR, and benefits vendors to gather necessary information, process employee data, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Assist in the implementation of new benefits plans, programs, and initiatives.
  • Coordinate annual open enrollment process, benefits meetings, and health fairs.
  • Assist in developing and distributing benefits communications and materials to employees.
  • Assist in conducting new hire benefits orientations.
  • Assist the Benefits Manager with other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of benefits administration and customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and initiative to improve processes.
  • Knowledge of employee benefits and applicable Federal and State regulations, including ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, Section 125, and Medicare.
  • Proficiency in using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working in ADP Workforce Now
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

The base salary for this position is $70,000 per year which represents the current range for the base salary for this exempt position. Please note that actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. As such, on occasion and when applicable, there is the possibility that the final, agreed-upon base salary may be outside of the upper end of the range. Please also note the range listed is just one component of the company’s total rewards package for exempt employees. Other rewards may include performance bonuses, long term incentives, a PTO policy, and many other progressive benefits.
