Salary Range: 95,000 – 105,000 USD Annually
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Total compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
ALM Global is immediately hiring an Event Marketing Director to join its Legal Events team. The Event Marketing Director is charged with collaborating with other team members to ensure the successful marketing of ALM’s legal event portfolio.
The Event Marketing Director will be responsible for marketing all aspects of the assigned portfolio. The Event Marketing Director will work with the VP of Marketing to develop and execute marketing strategy on all assigned tasks, as well as work closely with the VP of Marketing in the execution of various marketing needs, including list building; email content development; social media campaigns; digital ad campaigns; attendee reminder campaigns; budget management; campaign reporting; association management, freelancer management, as well as other daily tasks that may arise.
The Event Marketing Director will interact with both internal and external clients and must have highly polished written and verbal communication skills, as well as impeccable organizational skills. The Event Marketing Director will work towards established deadlines for each event, and could be working on multiple events simultaneously. Must be a good multitasker.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop content marketing to communicate the value of our events and drive qualified leads Deliver those leads to sales (sponsorship and delegate), track conversion and identify areas of improvement
  • Drive attendance at events through multi-channel marketing programs, manage social media channels, and generate response for periodic surveys
  • Track marketing performance to meet ROI targets and make recommendations for improvements
  • Lead development of strategic, client-facing sales pitch materials that communicate our product story, including presentations and sell sheets
  • Manage association and/or client relationships and related deliverables including email deployments and reporting as needed
  • Coordinate internal and external resources, including email deployment, designers, digital marketers, etc.
  • Attend events throughout the year to assist in onsite execution, including working registration, crowd management, or other needs as outlined by the operations team
  • Coordinate website builds and edits for assigned events
  • Be responsible for accurate budget management for assigned events
Qualifications:
  • Must have 7 - 10 years of marketing experience, preferably in a sales or lead generation capacity
  • Must have strong strategic skills to create marketing campaigns that generate leads
  • Demonstrated experience leading marketing campaigns using email, digital advertising, social and paid search
  • Ability to communicate creative strategy to develop marketing materials using our in-house creative team
  • Articulate product value proposition and identify the prospect universes for targeted campaigns
  • Innovative thinker who incorporates new technology and best practices into their plans
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior management experience
  • Ability to travel to the events nationwide
