About the role

This is a full-time in-office position in Allstar’s NYC headquarters. Located in midtown Manhattan, the team works in person Tues, Weds and Thurs, with Mon and Fri typically being remote working days.

You would be part of the Product team, with a path to concentrate efforts in one of three squads: Platform, Creator Tools, or Ecosystem. Your role directly reports into the VP of Product with matrixed reporting into the Chief Technology Officer for product execution.

The ideal candidate will be focused on day-to-day operational tasks, including ticket creation, task assignment, work breakdown, and direct collaboration with engineers and product leaders.

You will own

• Creating communication plans and processes for our product development squads to follow & contribute to.
• Organizing daily priorities, activities and updates, based on the broader goals of the organization.
• Maintaining project/program time frames, budget estimates and status reports.
• Meeting with stakeholders to discuss project/program status, escalating issues and updating plans where needed.
• Creating & maintaining sustainable product development goals for the organization.

What we need

• The ideal candidate has 3 to 5 years of experience in project or program management within a digital product or tech environment
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
• Demonstrated experience working in face-paced tech organization
• Focused training and/or certification in Agile / Scrum processes, or similar development best practices

Who you are

• Enjoys driving daily functions, tasking and managing those against high-level goals & initiatives
• Strong proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, Figma, and GitHub is essential.
• Demonstrated ability in managing daily operational tasks and adapting to changing priorities
• Eager to grow into a cross-functional / cross-org lead
• Thrives in environments where priorities are ever-changing and directions shift
• Motivated by creating and executing on your own work, without being handed a task list
• Bonus points for someone who has worked in the game industry
• Extra bonus points for someone who has experience in PC gaming, particularly eSports titles

Pay & Benefits

At Allstar, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.

The base pay range for this role is between $75,000 and $125,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location as well as other factors including equity compensation.

Allstar employees also have the opportunity to earn Stock Options through participation in the company’s employee equity incentive plans.

Additionally, certain roles and candidates may be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments as well as relocation benefits.
