Aleron is Hiring a Director, Business Development (PCBA / EMS) Near Milpitas, CA

Description
Acara Solutions has been providing advanced manufacturing firms with our staffing industry related services for over 65 years, our Milpitas, CA (San Jose region) electronics manufacturing services provider client is looking for a Director level sales manager to join their firm as a direct salaried employee. The targeted salary range is $160K - $180K.
This is a remote position. The candidate can work out of their home anywhere within the United States.
The organization requires a technical individual with a degree in engineering or other technical discipline and a background selling EMS/printed circuit board manufacturing services with a good understanding of design services. It's a plus to have a background targeting EMS and design services business within Silicon Valley's medical device, life sciences & healthcare community.
P.S. There is also another PCBA client of ours that has a Global Account Manager opening in the Bay Area. That position requires an account management background within automotive EV and PCBA within the Bay Area.
Responsible for executing company's business interests through the marketing of the firm's Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) and Contract Design Manufacturing to meet company objectives for revenue, gross margin, and organic growth. This is to be achieved by utilizing extensive relationship network, professional business development and marketing techniques. Focus on value added solutions to target and secure product development and manufacturing contracts from potential customers and business alliances that fit with the organization's strengths and long-term strategy.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop strategic relationships with prospective customers and alliance partners that strategically align with Targeted Markets including Healthcare, Lifescience, Test and Measurement, Industrial, Aerospace & Defense, Print & Imaging, Retail and Financial Solutions, Computing, Networking and Storage, Communications, Mobility Solutions, EVCS and Consumer Technology.
* Analyze map out and coordinate direction and strategies for Targeted Markets.
* Develop excellent networking strategies and relationships with governments, investors, institutions and businesses as it relates to the Target Markets.
. Engage with senior executives of target and existing customers and their decision makers and staff.
* Support the day-to-day needs of the targeted potential customers as well as existing customers and business partners as assigned.
* Utilize CRM tools and follow internal company processes to ensure development activities are documented and coordinated well.
* Possess deep understanding of company's products and target markets and monitor and evaluate technology and market trends.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical field is a must.
Min 7 years of experience in business development within the electronics industry.
Min 3 years of experience selling EMS services to Tier 1 or Tier 2 companies along with a background in supply chain / operations / business development within an electronics manufacturing organization.
Min 2 years of Director level or Sr. Management level P&L responsibility within an EMS organization that includes strong leadership and cross-functional team building skills and a good knowledge of the product development lifecycle.
Min 3 years of experience and knowledge of commercial contracts, pricing and quotation, terms, and conditions, as well as good contract negotiation skills and a deep understanding of integrated value chain services including design, manufacture, and lifecycle support.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
* Global Account Management experiences in the EMS industry a plus.
