The company has been operating since 1986 and is a registered member of IATA, FIATA, CNS, FMC, and other transport associations. They provide customized and competitive transportation solutions to handle international and domestic cargo for shippers, consignees, and carriers. They are located in Milpitas, California.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time and possible hybrid role for a Business Development Executive. The successful candidate will be responsible for new business development, lead generation, account management, and communication with clients. The position will require a combination of in and out of office remote work as well as National travel when required.Qualifications
- New Business Development and Lead Generation skills ( Freight Forwarding)
- Experience in managing business accounts and developing strong customer relationships
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven track record of success in sales or business development. Accounts on hand ready to GO!
- Proven Book of Business ready to convert is a MUST.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a Global Experienced team.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Admin/ Logistics field and 5 years qualified experience.
- Experience or understanding of the freight forwarding and logistics industry is a (High MUST).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and other business tools
