Duties
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries
- Perform clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying and scanning
- Review and organize e-mail and mail
- Manage calendars and schedule appointments (similar to dispatch)
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing and data entry
Experience
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc)
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong customer support skills with the ability to provide excellent service
- Proficient in clerical tasks such as typing, filing, and data entry
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity/background with home service businesses (preferred)
- Familiarity with basic bookkeeping principles (preferred)
