Aesthetic Studios is Hiring a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant Near Sherman Oaks, CA

Dance Studio Looking for a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

Aesthetic Studios is a family-friendly dance studio specializing in teaching Latin, Hip-Hop, and Dance Fitness to kids and adults. Studio is very busy with multiple classes, renters and events. The studio participates in numerous competitions and special events throughout the year, there is always something going on!

Employment Type : Part-Time or Full-Time, can discuss

Looking for someone for 4-6 days per week

Full time- 6 days a week

Part time - 3 or 4 days a week

Hours: Monday-Friday, 10:00 am-11:00 pm (sometimes later) and Saturday, 8:30 am-4:00 pm

Morning & Weekend shifts NEEDED.

(We also may request more hours for special events.)

Pay:

$16.25*/hr

*Pay will be raised based on performance and will be re-avaluated bi-annualy

Responsibilities:

  • Open/close the studio
  • Greet clients as they enter the facility, answer questions, provide basic information
  • Answer phone, take messages or pass on calls as appropriate; reply to emails
  • Register students for group and private lessons
  • Precise Data Entry: Process & record payments
  • Manage & maintain office supplies
  • Sell merchandise and uniforms
  • Maintain office cleanliness
  • other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications & Requirements:

  • *Most Important Attributes* Must be detail-oriented, a quick learner, friendly, customer service focused, patient, and be able to take initiative!
  • Independent, self-starter requiring minimal guidance
  • Highly reliable, dependable, and responsible
  • Team player with great interpersonal, communication and written skills
  • Ability to handle busy front office, multi-tasking, and to prioritize assignments
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in reception or customer service
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel), email and internet (YouTube, Canva etc)
  • Good with children and adults
  • Conflict and problem-solving skills
  • Strong ability to follow directions
  • Has reliable transportation
  • Ability to speak English, and Armenian helpful
  • Bonus skills: social media savvy, photography and gimbal skills, video or photo editing skills, marketing - please tell us about any of these!
