Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ramen Chef to join our team at AFURI Ramen Dumpling known for its exceptional flavors and dedication to quality. As a Ramen Chef, you will play a crucial role in the kitchen, collaborating closely with the culinary team to ensure the consistent delivery of delicious ramen dishes. Working directly with the Sous Chef, you will be vital to kitchen operations and upholding our standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation and Cooking:
Prepare and cook a variety of Japanese dishes with precision, adhering to established recipes and techniques.
Monitor the quality of ingredients to ensure freshness and taste.
Quality Control:
Maintain high standards of presentation and taste for all dishes leaving the kitchen.
Inventory Management: Assist in managing kitchen inventory, including ordering and restocking ingredients as needed.
Minimize wastage by employing efficient portion control practices.
Sanitation and Safety:
Uphold strict hygiene and safety standards in accordance with local regulations.
Monitor the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, equipment, and workstations.
Communication:
Liaise with Sous Chef to ensure smooth communication and timely order delivery.
Communicate effectively with the management team regarding kitchen operations, supplies, and any issues that arise.
