Job Title: Project Manager

Job Description

The Project Manager will be responsible for delivering profitable construction projects ranging from $15 million to $50 million or more. This role involves coordinating with the Assistant Project Manager for setting up contracts, required testing/inspections, submittals/samples, subcontractor/supplier lists, and project scheduling. The candidate will also be required to coordinate with the Estimator on project budget, project scope, and potential problem identification. The role also involves executing owner contracts, tracking critical path submittals, setting times for weekly site meetings and monthly progress meetings, reviewing project budgets and schedules, and preparing project meeting agendas and minutes. The Project Manager will also work with the AP/AR Manager to process owner and subcontractor billings, approve codes and their amounts, and release subcontractors after owner payment. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for final punch and close-out preparation for final billings, O & M Manuals, punch out completion, substantial completion signed, final inspection, and occupancy certificates with the City and/or State.

Hard Skills

• Experience in ground up/new commercial construction
• Managed projects from $20M to $50M
• Knowledge of project budgeting, project scope, and potential problem identification
• Experience in executing owner contracts, tracking critical path submittals, setting times for weekly site meetings and monthly progress meetings

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Jacksonville, Florida and some days remote.

Work Environment

The role requires in-office work in Jax and weekly travel to job sites in Bradenton, FL and Savannah, GA. The job sites include a Bradenton Rehab Center and a Ghost Pirates Hockey League Stadium, each valued at $25M. The candidate will have the support of an Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager, and will partner with the Superintendent, reporting to the Project Executive.
