Project Manager

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant clients, crews and project team members.

Responsibilities

• Set and adhere to project timeline for multiple construction projects
• Estimate, create and present individual project BID proposals and change orders for contracts - for both active and prospective clients
• Schedule, monitor and oversee scheduling for subcontractors and vendors for each project
• Schedule and maintain building inspections for each project per BID guidelines
• Monitor project orders and deliverables
• Update relevant team members on the project progress
• Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them
• Prepare, collect and submit daily logs, reports and supporting documents on a daily basis
• Adhere to all Building Inspection Division guidelines and submit all required documentation necessary for the permitting process on all applicable projects
• Establish and maintain relationships with current and past customers and advise management of future construction plans, key personnel changes, and other factors affecting potential future sales
• Represent the company’s best interest in all project related dealings with owners, architects, engineers, supplier and sub-contractors.
• Keep supervisor advised of any developments, which may impact the profitability and schedule of projects
• Support and become knowledgeable of pre-construction and construction management services

Qualifications

• Strong business acumen in project planning and management
• Self-motivator who can work well alone or in a team environment
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
• Capability to work both in an office setting and on jobsites
• Multi-tasking and organizational skills are a must in order to work on various projects simultaneously
• Must understand deadlines and have the motivation to complete tasks at hand
• Must own or have full access to a vehicle since this position does often require travel between locations and jobsites
• Must have a High School Diploma
• Experience in Construction and/or Project Management is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 - $72,800.00 per year
