Job Description:
As a Business Development Manager at A.T. Meridian Construction, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business growth and enhancing our market position. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and developing strategic partnerships within the commercial construction sector. Your primary objective will be to generate leads, secure new projects, and contribute to the overall success and expansion of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients, including property developers, real estate firms, architects, engineers, and other key stakeholders in the commercial construction industry.
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and new business opportunities.
Collaborate with the executive team to assess market demand and develop innovative strategies to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and bids to potential clients.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both parties.
Act as a brand ambassador for A.T. Meridian Construction, representing our values, capabilities, and commitment to excellence in all interactions with clients and industry partners.
Maintain regular communication with existing clients to foster long-term relationships and identify opportunities for repeat business and referrals.
Stay abreast of industry regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance and uphold our reputation for quality and professionalism.
Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers, estimators, and construction crews, to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
Create Annual Marketing Budget
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or client relationship management within the commercial construction industry.
In-depth knowledge of commercial construction processes, including design-build, general contracting, and construction management.
Strong network of contacts and relationships within the commercial real estate and construction community.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.

$70k-$90k base plus uncapped commissions could make $300k
