Role Description: Salesforce is looking for a hardworking and dynamic Source to Pay expert to join the Finance Excellence Team. The candidate will be responsible for leading all functionality related conversations to run business processes, Including technology adoption, automation expansion and Innovation related opportunities. This position will require effective collaboration and strong influence throughout the Finance organization, as well as our internal teams and Business Technology teams. The candidate will need to demonstrate ownership, partnership and problem-solving skills. This position will help to drive continuous improvement of our current processes and scale business operations to support organizational growth. Your Impact: As Director, Business Process your job will be to coordinate people and processes to ensure that improvement and change requests are a right fit and prioritized on time and produce the desired results Design and coordinate the preparation and ongoing review of global and country specific policies, procedures, training materials and other communication tools to ensure Treasury and Finance Operation business meets compliance requirements. Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Sourcing, Procurement, Invoicing, Travel and Expense Payments, Bank Settlements and Indirect Tax functions Assess product, compliance, or operational needs and develop multi year management strategies. Lead to ensure every system release is appropriately documented, prioritized and resourced for timely roll out. Take a leadership role in continuous improvement by identifying and implementing opportunities to eliminate, automate and streamline control processes, reporting, planning and systems. Organize various initiatives to a T, sizing to plan and accommodate the method of execution Lead Functionality from a Product and Platform perspective Evaluate Build vs Buy use cases from Idea to product and/or Platform Run ERP transitions and foundational functionality. Collaborate closely with Technology, Project and Program managers, taking joint responsibility on requirements, design and testing for business processes Partner with key cross-functional collaborators to drive all aspects of complex initiatives, including scope definition, developing project plans, leading dependencies, performing with a high degree of accuracy and integrity, and keeping supporting groups on task. Guiding business owners in prioritizing initiatives based their business need, merit, value and maturity and maintain a roadmap of all active work within the function Required Skills/Experience: Strong process orientation and demonstrated knowledge of planning, organizational and analytical skills, including project scheduling, estimating, risk identification, change management, and standard methodologies. Deep understanding of Coupa, Concur and Oracle. Workday knowledge is highly desirable. Analyze requirements and resource needs to plan and assess the feasibility of project design and implementation. Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors and delegate project tasks based on staff members' individual strengths, abilities and experience levels. Plan, direct and coordinate appropriate working sessions, reviews, and other discussions involving all relevant collaborators to ensure technical feasibility and high-quality deliverables. Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques. Use appropriate verification techniques to run changes in project scope, schedule, and costs. Report and advance to management as needed. Responsible for ensuring user acceptance testing (UAT) deliverables are defined and incorporated into the project plan. Assist in developing the testing approach and detailed testing schedule and track & report testing progress against schedule. Ensure entry and exit criteria for testing phases are met, and lead the business sign off process. Effective leadership qualities, ability to influence without direct management authority; experience handling conflict to achieve project goals; visibility with management and collaborators. Excellent time and project management skills and able to build strong cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively Communication Able to quickly establish rapport with all levels of management, across functions and with external partners. Comfortable in communicating, resolving conflict, and brokering consensus with cross-functional teams. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experienced in communicating effectively with leaders and sponsors, including concise, issue-focused presentation materials and leading executive level discussions. Process Improvement Work with business partners to assess current business processes and develop process improvements aligned to system solutions to optimize business benefits. Partner with Fin Ops collaborators to analyze, assess, and recommend improvement opportunities for Fin Ops processes. Preferred Qualifications 14 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in Systems/Accounting/Finance concentration or Management information systems 10 or more years of dynamic program or project management experience preferably with large, multi-national, publicly traded companies. Prior Financial Services Industry experience is required, with a solid understanding of the functional and technical aspects of Procure to Pay and Record to Report domain 8 or more years of handling Finance Systems projects on major ERP platforms (i.e. Oracle, SAP, Workday, etc.) Excellent project management skills and ability to effectively lead multiple projects at one time and meet project deadlines. PMP Certification and/or Scrum Master Certification required. Must be detail oriented and possess the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Recent experience in enterprise software packages (e.g. Oracle, Workday, SAP, etc.) preferred. Must be a great teammate with excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to translate complex information into comprehensive, concise, and high- quality business requirements with minimal revisions. Should be able to work with offshore vendors and globally dispersed resources. Shown ability to learn quickly and achieve in-depth understanding of complex processes and systems. Excellent understanding of the Agile methodology and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process.
