Gillette Children's is Hiring a Performance Strategist I Near Saint Paul, MN

This position will develop an understanding of the business environment and strategy through collaborative interactions and engagement with leaders and teams. They will build and maintain integrated connections at all levels of the business to promote comprehensive dialog and planning for business initiatives. Explore and understand key trends in technology and how it relates to healthcare market and operations. Provide input for iterative planning with performance management leaders for current and future project roadmap. Support and expand on mechanisms for visibility within all areas of the business to guide alignment across teams. Provide a dynamic and objective approach that leads teams to achieve goals and actively look for ways to improve efficiency. PMSO structure will provide oversight and visibility for strategic advancements and operational improvements.

This is a hybrid position, requiring working one day onsite per week, and as needed for the role. The office location is downtown St. Paul, MN.

Compensation & Benefits

The annual salary range for this opportunity is $79,268/annually to $118,984/annually, with a median salary of $96,688/annually. Pay is dependent on several factors including relevant work experience and internal equity. Salary is just one component of the compensation package for employees. Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Relationship Management
    • Establish relationships at all levels of the organization to understand and relate to the needs and goals of the organization.
    • Actively interact with cross-functional teams related to analytics and mission critical systems and workflows to recognize and adhere to varying perspective and conversations.
    • Integrate with stakeholders and teams through interviews, brainstorming, and knowledge sharing to illuminate all perspectives and ideas for work.
    • Actively listen to all perspectives and relate to the dynamics and needs of the teams and organization to ensure the appropriate approach and plans are made. Take input from all and solicit for ideas, innovation and new ways of doing things.
    • Maintain ongoing relationship and support as necessary for ongoing projects or assigned specialty
    • Guide staff and teams to achieve objectives
  • Strategy, Leadership & Advancement
    • Iterative assessment of requests, strategic initiatives and project roadmap to adapt as needed based on changing factors and needs.
    • Transfer knowledge and information from business to practice areas for iterative planning to identify, align and sequence out work.
    • Assist to develop and promote teams that deliver superior experiences that achieve work in a prompt and agile manner. That means far-reaching and continuous transformation in expertise, technology insights and business knowledge.
    • Collaborate with performance management leadership teams to set key performance metrics for delivery and outcomes for portfolio, leadership and project approach.
    • Assemble details and inform business, teams and committees as needed on project portfolio, emerging ideas and achievements.
    • Identify, explore and analyze key trends and advancements in the healthcare market and identify strategies to promote.
    • Collaborative strategize tactics and approaches to achieve advancement in terms of technology, processes and methodologies.
    • Demonstrate knowledge in a range of skills, such as process improvement, emotional intelligence, portfolio planning, solution support and situational leadership.
    • Support the structure and processes as outlined by the PMSO Manager
    • Support and maintain the Performance Management Portfolio Processes
    • Responsive and adaptable to inputs, ideas and changes.
    • Maintain a broad view on market, technology and business.
    • Forward-thinking on ideas and approaches.
    • Assess and acclimate to situations for best approach.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of two years’ experience related to analytics, integrated health record including clinical and revenue cycle functions, processes and integration or project management.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience and knowledge in portfolio management, process improvement, and business strategy.
  • Experience with cross functional teams and the ability to directly drive effective knowledge sharing behaviors through facilitation, results and working effectively with a variety of skill levels
  • Ability to interact, communicate and plan with all levels of business and users at diverse organizational levels
  • Ability to clearly articulate issues and risks as well as ideas and solutions
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, presentation and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated analytical decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to understand a variety of user disciplines and requirements
  • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively on an autonomous or team basis
  • Displays a high degree of initiative, dedication, and innovation
  • Experience utilizing MS Word, Excel, and process mapping tools

Preferred

  • MBA, MHA or related master’s degree
  • Healthcare professional or experience in a healthcare environment
  • Knowledge and Experience with Cerner Millennium
  • Knowledge and Experience with Office 365 Analytic and Collaboration Tools.
