Job Title: Donation Call Center Lead Representative
Department: Donation Call Center
Reports To: Director of Donation Center
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Hours per week: 40 hours
Salary Range: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
Job Summary
The Lead Representative for the Donation Call Center will have the duties of representing the Donation Center as a liaison between donors and SafeNest. This position will provide customer service and review daily route updates, ensuring quality and care for the donor relationship; this position will also troubleshoot any challenges connected to the call dialer and Call Center Representatives. The Lead Representative will create the drivers’ routes in partnership with the Director and modify them when needed. The Lead Representative will assist when needed or provide additional coverage related to the Donation Center front desk or the Call Center.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Update donor information in SafeNest’s software systems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Consistently promote the mission of Safe Nest when soliciting donations.
  • Startup and work with the Call Center Dialer.
  • Assist with building driver routes in routing software.
  • Assist drivers with address checks and any help needed on the routes.
  • Cover breaks and lunches when needed for Front Desk.
  • Train new Call Center Representatives.
  • Manage the daily processes of the Donation Call Center.
  • Work within Microsoft Teams to communicate with fellow co-workers.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Manager/Supervisor experience preferred.
  • Experience in leading and coaching a team.
  • Experience in customer service is essential.
  • Managerial experience is a plus.
  • Ability to talk on the phone for long periods of time.
  • Ability to handle call rejection and difficult situations.
  • Ability to handle repetitive script.
  • Ability to speak in a calming and inviting voice.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in English: Good knowledge of additional languages a plus.
  • Basic computer skills with Excel knowledge.
  • Technological abilities with knowledge of telephone equipment and relevant computer programs.
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening.
  • Customer focus and adaptability to handle different personality types.
  • Ability to work well not only as part of a small, dynamic team, but also independently.
  • Ability to work remotely and be self-driven and motivated.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written in a positive and professional manner.
  • Adaptability to changes in the work environment.
Physical Requirements and Work Conditions

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate office noise but may vary on occasion if circumstances require.
  • Regular attendance during regularly scheduled business hours is expected. However, this position requires occasional flexibility in work hours as needed to accomplish department goals and objectives.
  • Ability to work remotely approximately 75 % to 90 % of the time but in the office when required. The hours will be from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with an hour lunch Monday through Friday.
  • Must be able to perform essential functions of the job.
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
