- Managing all aspects of the kitchen operations
- Oversee food preparation and ensure high-quality standards are met
- Manage, supervise, and train kitchen staff, ensuring they follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Assist in the development and implementation of standard recipes and portion control guidelines
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Follow Jina's instructions and recipes. Open to suggestions and new ideas.
- Testing recipes and creating new items.

- Culinary expertise with a strong knowledge in pastry & baking
- Experience in baking and pastry production including lamination
- Proficient in maintaining food safety standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and lead a team

- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance

Schedule depend on needs but the general schedule would be Tuesday-Saturday or Wednesday-Sunday. (~8-10hr shifts)
We have AM bakers (4am-12:30pm) and PM bakers (12:30-9pm) so these are shifts this role would need to work if needed coverage or training. Weekdays would generally be morning/afternoon shifts and weekends morning shifts.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of culinary experience, with a focus on pastry and baking
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage kitchen operations and workflow
- Proficient in baking techniques and pastry preparation
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and customers
- Demonstrated leadership abilities to lead a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Experience in cake decorating and food packaging is a plus
- Knowledge of food production processes and catering operations
- Certification in food handling and safety
