Your Mission:

As the Pine Tree Senior Council Coordinator at the Chinese American Service League (CASL), your mission is to spearhead our efforts in supporting and empowering seniors within our community. You will play a pivotal role in coordinating and monitoring the PTSC program, ensuring it meets performance goals and outcomes. Through program management, community engagement, client support, and data management, you will contribute to our overarching mission of fostering cultural integration, promoting civic engagement, and enhancing the well-being of our senior citizens. Join our MarComm team to support CASL in its Transformation Journey. Our mission is to:

Your Impact:

As the PTSC Coordinator, you'll be responsible for:

Program Management and Coordination:

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive PTSC program calendar, ensuring a variety of engaging activities.
  • Overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth program delivery.
  • Coordinating with community partners to organize enriching experiences for PTSC members.

Community Engagement and Outreach:

  • Developing outreach strategies to promote PTSC services.
  • Organizing community events to raise awareness about senior citizen needs.
  • Recruiting new members to the PTSC program.

Client Support and Services:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to PTSC members.
  • Assisting new members with registration and program orientation.
  • Maintaining open communication and addressing member concerns.

Data Management and Reporting:

  • Utilizing Salesforce to track client records and program metrics.
  • Analyzing data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to data protection policies.

Requirements:

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Gerontology, Public Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Valid Illinois driver's license with reliable transportation.
  • Fluency in spoken, written, and read Chinese (Cantonese, Toishanese, or Mandarin).
  • Patience, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to thrive in a senior-focused environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
