Tuesday, April 23, 2024JOB SUMMARY:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director to oversee our organization's Supported Employment Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing/implementing program policies, budget, and employment contracts; and in coordinating service delivery to participants of various grant programs and/or DVRS.This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to lead a dynamic team in making a positive impact on the community.JOB TASKS:1. Ensures all contractual obligations within the various grant programs of the employment department are met2. Maintains appropriate levels of service and employment supports for participants3. Builds community relationships for job development4. Ensures employment services are consistent with participants objectives, goals and service plans5. Ensures compliance with CARF accreditation requirements and DVRS Standards6. Maintains effective supervision with staff7. Maintains appropriate human resources practices including recruiting, orientation, training and retention9. Ensures members health, safety and welfare10. Ensures appropriate staff/member relations11. Ensures sound program financial management12. Ensures compliance with all required state and federally mandated background and exclusion checks including but not limited to criminal history background investigation (fingerprinting), Central Registry, Child Abuse Record Information (CARI), drug testing, and motor vehicle checks.13. Cooperate with Agency and funding source staff in any inspection or investigation.14. All other duties as assigned.EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:Bachelors Degree preferred, minimum AA degree in Human Service related field. Vocational / DVRS experience a plus.
