Union County social service agency seeks a self-motivated Security Guard for our Elizabeth office. Responsibilities include completing building rounds, monitoring the agency parking lot, escorting staff to vehicles, conducting vehicle inspections, and helping set up caterings. Candidates must have the flexibility to work weekend and evening hours and must be available for snow removal detail. A high school diploma/GED, driver’s license, and car are required. Position offers flexible hours and full paid benefits.

Repsonsibilities

• Monitors agency parking lot
• Assists facility team with moves and maintenance
• Completes building rounds
• Attends required trainings, staff meetings, and other meetings/events as requested
• Performs other duties as required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• One year of relevant experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff
• Willing and able to attend required trainings outside of normal work hours
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
• Access to a car to use for work purposes
• Valid driver's license
