GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Responsible for the development and coordination of training programs for members which enhance their quality of life and increase their independence. Develops community support and utilizes normalization principles in order to provide educational training to members.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
One year working with people with developmental disabilities. BA/BS in psychology, special education, social work, or related field or related experience working in the field required.
JOB TASKS
1. Maintains program standards of operation and development.
2. Ensures members’ health, safety, and welfare, including appropriate medication administration and medical needs.
3. Ensures the integrity of members’ finances.
4. Ensures adequate employment and recreation for members.
5. Maintains appropriate staff/member interactions.
6. Ensures compliance with the annual Individual Support Plan (ISP) process for members.
7. Ensures compliance with the Agency’s Periodic Service Review and other quality assurance programs.
8. Ensures compliance with various program licensing and CARF requirements.
9. Provides appropriate direct supports to members.
10. Maintains Carelogic expectations.
11. Checks CAU e-mail account on a regular basis
12. Cooperates with Agency personnel, legal authorities, and Department of Human Services, or any part or successor thereof, in any inspection or investigation.
13. Ensures compliance with wearing a mask when mandated by State, Federal, and Licensing authorities during a public health crisis/pandemic.
14. All other duties as assigned.
SHIFT: 3pm-11pm with some variation. Weekends required. Days vary by program need.
