**Position Summary:**
The Food Service Manager is responsible for management and supervision of all food preparation for Extended Care and for all of New Community Corporation.
**SECTION 1 Duties and Responsibilities**
* Manage and supervise all staff responsible for the preparation and distribution of foods to NCC operations.
* Supervise and handle Activity Program for special functions, Harmony House, Community Hills, and St. Josephs plaza food services and pricing.
* Works closely with Food Service Director.
* Primary responsibility is food production for ECF residents.
* Must be able to perform various kitchen duties which include preparing therapeutic diets, supervising dietary cooks and aides & maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
* Ensure food safety standards are followed throughout the food preparation process.
* Handle monthly inventory list update for Finance Dept.
* Have a strong sense of teamwork and cooperation among all staff.
* Must be able to work various shifts, holidays, and weekends.
* Salary would be based on experience. 401
**Experience and Skills:**
* New Jersey State Department of Health Food and Sanitation 90 hour Certification or Bachelors Degree in Nutrition
* Must have ServSafe certificate
* Prior supervisor/ management experience.
* Three (3) plus years of experience in a LTC/ Sub-Acute or large institutional setting.
* Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
