Phase Technologies is Hiring an Accountant/Bookkeeper Near Rapid, SD
As an Accountant/Bookkeeper, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records for our power electronics manufacturing company. Your responsibilities will encompass recording transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Recording Financial Transactions:
- Maintain meticulous records of all financial activities, including sales, purchases, income, and payments.
- Ensure accuracy in the general ledger by posting transactions correctly.
- Reconcile reports with third-party records such as bank statements.
- Financial Reporting:
- Collaborate with the accounting team to create and analyze financial reports.
- Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and other relevant financial statements.
- Assist in budget preparations.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Process accounts payable (vendor invoices) and accounts receivable (customer invoices).
- Manage invoices and tax payments promptly.
- Compliance and Audits:
- Adhere to all legal requirements by staying informed about regulations.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual balance audits.
- Continuous Learning:
- Stay updated by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.
- Participate in relevant professional societies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A degree in Finance (preferably followed by accounting CPE courses).
- Familiarity with accounting software packages such as FreshBooks, NetSuite, and QuickBooks.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
Additional Notes:
- The ideal candidate will accurately record day-to-day financial transactions, contributing to the financial health of our company.

Salary:
- $18-$30/hour DOE
