Nouveau Elevator is Hiring a Junior Accountant Bookkeeper Near New York, NY
- Work closely with the department heads to understand and ensure accuracy of all financial reporting activity
- Assist in preparation and distribution of financial statements
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule
- Work closely with the accounting team in creation of financial statements
- Assist the billing team with finance related functions
- Assist in monthly preparation of accounting schedules (Bank Reconciliations, AMEX Expenses, Sales tax, Postings)
- Work with the Controller and Assistant Controller (working with the auditors, state/city work, etc.)

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
- 0 - 2 years' experience in accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
