JOB TITLE: Vice President, Global Marketing Biolage DMI

What You Will Do:
• Define the strategy for Biolage to ensure the continued worldwide growth.
• Develop 3 years strategic growth plan for the brand in partnership with the drive markets, including product and services pipeline.
• Drive innovation pipeline behind hero products and pillar franchises.
• Define the brand's global sense of purpose and continuously sharpen its distinctive positioning on the market.
• Make strategic decisions involving the development and launch of new products and services for Biolage worldwide, including packaging, formulations and merchandizing.
• Drive communication strategy for the brand (image, advertising, content, advocacy and merchandizing) consistent with the brand's sense of purpose.
• Perform competitive evaluations and conduct product performance reviews in order to advise on the most effective method to achieve growth objectives and to thus ensure the continuing success of Biolage.
• Lead the product development process in line with L'Oreal for the Future framework, including driving the relevant partners R&I, industry, packaging, etc.
• Inspire the next generation of marketing expertise.
• Build, develop and manage talented teams in the framework of Simplicity 2.
• Steer the budget (brand profitability, development costs, value analysis and etc.)
  • This position requires low level of supervision. An ideal candidate would be able to work autonomously to achieve strategic goals. Additionally, the Category Lead needs to have a proven track record of providing superb level of supervision and guidance to grow and develop a high performance team.
  • Communicate overall divisional strategy to category leaders and work to develop effective strategies to achieve annual budget and to influence innovation in all brand programs.
  • Develop and ensure execution of strategic marketing plans to build profitability and grow market share.
  • Responsible for the people growth, development and mentorship of the marketing team.
  • Responsible for managing all financial aspects of the business across categories and in the development, monitoring, reconciliation and senior management review of the departmental budget.
  • Develop and lead international panier through collaborative effort with category leaders to drive sales and maintain effective brand image and innovation.
  • Represent categories for cross-functional strategic and update meetings to include new product development, print and package, education, brand updates and presentations.
Who you are:
  • You hold a college degree (BFA, BA, or similar) in visual arts or other creative fields.
  • You have exceptional knowledge of the professional beauty industry, including products and content that perform best. This includes an understanding of metrics and performance measures for all distribution channels.
  • You possess a minimum of 8-10 years of progressively responsible experience successfully guiding strategic marketing, branding, and product management within consumer goods businesses.
  • You demonstrate exceptional financial acumen, including experience with budgeting and P&L management.
  • You have proven leadership skills, including the ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members.
  • You show a demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships across functional areas of the business, enabling the successful achievement of initiatives across all brand categories.
  • You possess superior leadership and communication skills, with the ability to articulate clear business direction and strategies. You can liaise between different departments, participate in senior-level management discussions, and facilitate the creative process at all levels.
  • You have proven experience in creating a consistent and comprehensive brand presence across multiple channels (preferred).
  • You pay exceptional attention to detail.
  • You possess strong project management and planning skills.
  • You have the ability to make quick decisions, problem-solve, and multitask effectively.
  • You demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • You exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills required to effectively manage relationships with diverse international internal and external contacts.
  • You possess strong execution, leadership, and consensus-building/decision-making skills.
  • You are computer literate in Windows, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • You have the ability to travel domestically or internationally periodically (max. 25%).
  • Language skills are a plus.

Salary Range: $176,000- $255200 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
