We are searching for an experienced Special Assistant to the Chief of Staff at our Arapahoe Campus facility.

FTE: 100% (40 hrs/week)
Compensation: $58,200 - $67,000 based on prior experience
Job Summary
The Special Assistant to the Chief of Staff plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the office and supporting the chief of staff and operational leaders. This position involves overseeing and directing daily operations, completing administrative tasks, and serving as a primary point of contact for the chief of staff. Additionally, the role encompasses project management, including tracking and managing initiatives, scheduling meetings, and analyzing tasks to ensure timely completion. Communication and liaison activities are also central to the position, involving facilitation of internal and external communication and arranging appointments. Furthermore, the Special Assistant is responsible for coaching and consulting around JEDI and restorative issues, while also facilitating high-level restorative conversations as requested by the Chief of Staff or operational leaders. Expected to work 4 days a week on site, with flexibility as discussed with the supervisor.

A comprehensive benefits package is available to full-time employees who work a minimum of 30 hours each week. Employees who work fewer than 20 hours per week are eligible to participate in Naropa’s retirement plan only, which includes up to 2.5% employer matching.
All regular full-time and part-time faculty and staff, including student workers, accrue sick leave benefits. Full-time and part-time staff positions accrue vacation and personal time. All leave accrual rates vary based on the position, hours worked, and years of service.
