We are searching for an experienced Naropa Student Employment - Office Assistant, Admissions at our Arapahoe Campus facility.

Position Title: Naropa Student Employment – Office Assistant

Work Location Authorization: Hybrid On-Site/Remote
Campus Location: Arapahoe Campus
Reports to: Assistant Director of Admissions Operations
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt/Hourly
FTE: 25% ( 10 hrs/week)
Compensation: $16.50 - $16.50 per hour

Job Summary
This student role is responsible for providing support to the entire Development, Enrollment and Student Success (DESS) team by assisting with administrative duties, including but not limited to communicating with prospective students, organizing application and interview materials, leading campus tours, assisting in hosting on-campus events (group informational sessions, open houses, interview days, etc.). This position also requires daily data entry, filing, mail preparation and other general administrative tasks.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Align individual work to the mission and the scope of work of Development Enrollment & Student Success offices.
  • Create and maintain a positive team environment and behave professionally with everyone. encountered in the course and scope of the job duties.
  • Under the direct supervision of a Graduate/Undergraduate Admissions Counselor, provide support in
weekly communication with prospective students at the inquiry stage.
  • Assist the Graduate/Undergraduate Admissions Counselors with hosting on-campus events such as group informational sessions and special events.
  • Respond to inquiries seeking support from the administrative staff on first floor of Wulsin Hall.
  • Assist the Graduate/Undergraduate Admission Counselors with organization of application and interview materials.
  • Perform simple data entry using Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and other software
applications.
  • Perform general alpha and numerical filing.
  • Perform routine customer service tasks requiring basic listening and response skills, working knowledge of the Offices within DESS, their policies, processes, and procedures, and a friendly, responsive attitude.
  • Answer a departmental telephone and assist with scheduling on-campus visits.
  • Assist with mass mailings, including copying documents, folding documents, stuffing envelopes, and sealing and mailing envelopes.
  • Operate standard office equipment, including copy and fax machines.
  • Perform general event set-up and take down. This may include assisting with hosting the event or moving furniture.
  • Lead tours for visiting students.
  • Additional specific departmental duties as assigned.
