Essential Job Function
Lead and mentor the kitchen teams across all F&B outlets on property, run shifts, work closely with leadership to achieve compliance in food, preparations, presentation, and quality. Assist with employee training, scheduling, and motivation. Adhere to federal, state and local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards and local policies and procedures. Dedicated to providing a stellar guest experience, by constant creativity and proficiency in all aspects of food preparation. Looking for an empathetic leader who’s done it all, and is ready to inspire the next generation of young culinary talent.
Skills & Requirements
5 years proven working experience as a head chef, in a multi-unit role; hotel and banquet experience preferred
Excellent record of kitchen management including food and labor cost control processes; and team leadership, development, and management
Passionately creative, while fiscally sound menu developer and collaborator
Eager to take on new projects, drive change and improvement.
Ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently
Capable of delegating multiple tasks
Communication and leadership skills
Vast knowledge in culinary arts, including any new up and coming food trends and best practices
Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate
Fluent in Spanish preferred
