HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR

Our new team member will be responsible for the routine functions of the HR department, including but not limited to payroll, benefits administration, leave of absence, onboarding, training and education maintenance and compliance.

Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Create and update job postings and manage applicant tracking.
• Assists with recruiting, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews.
• Assists in new hire orientation

• Create and distribute internal communications regarding status changes, benefits, or company policies.
• Coordinate open enrollments, changes, and training for employee benefits programs.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
• Process unemployment claims and attend hearings as needed
• Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments
• Avetta management and maintenance
• Payroll
• Performs other H.R. duties and projects as requested

Skills/Abilities:

• Knowledge of general HR practices
• Experience with payroll
• Experience with HRIS, knowledge of Paylocity a plus
• Understanding of state and federal employment regulations
• Understanding of personnel and compliance records management
• Written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in all situations

Salary Range: $23 - $33 per hour
