Davis Behavioral Health is seeking a part-time Therapist to join the Children, Youth, and Families Mental Health program as a member of the school-based team.
The School-Based Therapist is a licensed mental health professional who provides therapeutic services for youth who are experiencing a variety of behavioral and psychiatric symptoms. Services are mostly provided directly in the school setting and coordinated with the education team; however, some clinic and/or in-home services may be required. This is a part-time year-round position, one to three days per week, up to 29 hours, with services expected to continue through the summer. This position will primarily be working in elementary schools; however, due to potential changes from year to year, the individual must be comfortable working with youth up to the age of 18.
This position has a start date of approximately July 2024.

This position is classified as part-time, non-exempt.
Base Rate
The base rate for fully licensed clinicians is calculated with a starting hourly rate of $35.34 plus credit for years of full-licensure experience as defined below:
This is a part-time position, one to three days per week, up to 29 hours per week, and is normally assigned to weekdays. This schedule may require some evening work. DBH reserves the right to require overtime, weekend work, and/or assignment to evening or night shifts, depending upon operational need, some in and out of state travel may be required.
Required ExperienceThe successful candidate must be licensed as a masters-level clinician in the State of Utah. DBH's preference is to hire a fully-licensed LCSW; however, candidates with an active license in the State of Utah as a CSW, CMHC, ACMHC, or MFT will be considered. Strong preference will also be given to candidates who are bilingual English/Spanish.
Experience in completing behavioral health assessments and providing clinical care to youth and their families is required.
DBH utilizes an electronic medical health records system, so computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office products is required.
Qualifications, Skills, & AbilitiesThe selected candidate must successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening. DBH will not hire individuals currently using illegal drugs or abusing alcohol; therefore, making employment at DBH conditional upon successfully passing pre-employment drug screening by providing a valid sample. Candidates who are offered employment are required to report for a drug screen at an Intermountain WorkMed location within 24 hours of being requested to do so by the DBH Human Resources Department.
Davis Behavioral Health works with Federal grants and must comply with the Federal drug laws, including no use of medical marijuana.
