GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES In this challenging role, you will be supporting the AMT-Aircraft Maint&Trucking department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following.
- Operate with minimum supervision, assist the lead instructor in lab activities where students are present, ensure students accomplish assigned tasks correctly, answer simple questions about each project, ensure all students follow prescribed safety procedures, repair school aircraft and training equipment as required.
- Prepare labs for each activity by setting up and taking down required equipment. Repair trainers so they operate safely and correctly.
- Inventory consumables, research part numbers and provide to lead instructor so supplies can be reordered.
- Monitor safety by identifying and correcting safety hazards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Must possess an FAA airframe or powerplant certificate
and have two (2) years' experience inairframe or powerplant related maintenance
OR a graduate of a two (2) year FAApart 147 school with a GPA of 3.0 or better.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS A FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification and three (3) or more years' experience in airframe and powerplant maintenance.
