The Payroll Manager will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of multi-state payroll for over 2,000 employees utilizing Workday software. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with extensive knowledge of payroll regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees across multiple states, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Oversee payroll staff, providing guidance and support to ensure deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll data with other systems and processes.
• Develop and maintain payroll procedures, policies, and documentation to ensure consistency and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Stay current on payroll laws and regulations, implementing changes as necessary to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field preferred.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred.
• 5 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a multi-state environment.
• Extensive knowledge of payroll regulations, including federal and state tax laws, wage and hour laws, and garnishment regulations.
• Proficiency in Workday payroll software strongly preferred; experience with other payroll systems will be considered.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
