In this role, you will perform various HR duties, including recruiting, conducting new hire orientation. and assisting with payroll calculations.What you get to do every day- Work with other members of the HR department to oversee the hiring and onboarding process for new company employees- Collaborate with upper management, employees, and third-party vendors- Develop official internal documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, salary adjustments, updates to the employee handbook, leave of absences, and warning/termination letters- Design & /or support a recruitment plan according to operational and business projections- Employee relations, including engaging employees and coordinating sensitive conversations- Responsible for completing various tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department- Maintain physical and digital files for employees and their documents, including benefits, attendance records, and annual reviews- Compare federal, state, and local laws to current internal policies and procedures- Draft templates for HR documents, including the Employee Handbook- Conduct employee performance reviews, including assisting with annual reviews, appraising pay scales, and coordinating disciplinary action (including terminations if necessary)- Develop onboarding plans and train newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations- Process timecards and payroll data - calculating overtime, bonuses, PTO, holidays and other parts
