Job Title: HR Operations Associate
Location: Hybrid onsite, 3 days in Boston (core days: Tues- Thurs)
Duration: 6 months (coverage for leave)
Manager Notes: This is an entry to mid-level that will be focused on supporting the day-to-day operations for the HRBP team. This role is to cover a leave of absence. The ideal candidate would be local to Boston and is proficient in Workday and Excel. Workday experience is strongly preferred, but open to similar platforms. This role is administratively focused and embedded in the HR function so the ideal candidate will need to understand HR systemic work. 2 years of experience and must be able to execute the work, show initiative, and be comfortable when given feedback. The team is always open to improving processes, so the ideal candidate would be direct and comfortable with making suggestions as well. Financial services experience is a plus but not required.
BASIC PURPOSE:
Acting as support to the HRBP’s, partners with assigned client groups and indirectly with Business unit leaders. Supports HR programs, including performance management, talent assessment and development, year-end planning and execution and various ad hoc HR reporting. Supports alignment with HR COE teams.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Produces required materials and data to team, anticipating requirements based on established processes.
Partners with HRBP team to assist in implementation of HR solutions across enterprise, and/or assigned business units.
Collaborates with HR COE teams to maintain and enhance HR systems, processes, and materials.
Articulates HR policy and process to business unit managers, supports business understanding and application.
Supports business unit managers through routine performance management, and employee relations requirements.
Demonstrates inclusive behavior, seeks out diverse perspectives and contributes to an environment of open communication.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
2 years related experience, preferably in Human Resources.
Operational experience, preferably in HR, providing service to employees and managers.
Ability to work with employees at all levels.
Independent problem solver who presents solutions and takes initiative.
Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work with data, through Microsoft & HR systems (Workday experience strongly preferred)
