Business Development Manager
Whitridge Associates, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Business Development professional to join our fast-growing team. A proven track record in IT contract staffing or technical services industry is required.
Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, this individual will be responsible for business development and client relationship management, including developing new clients and expanding our presence with existing clients. This will include identifying and qualifying leads, cold calling, scheduling appointments, ensuring successful service delivery, documenting sales activities, closing deals, etc…
Job Responsibilities
· Identify and develop relationships with decision makers through networking, cold/warm calling, and lead follow up.
· Source qualified contract IT job requisitions
· Close deals to meet or exceed gross profit and start goals as set by your manager.
· Stay up to date on trends within the industries and technology sectors that you support.
Qualification
· Strong background in business development and account management within the contract staffing industry
· Minimum of 3 years of sales or recruiting experience in the staffing industry initiating and maintaining long-lasting client relationships
· Ability to proactively promote candidates to clients
· Strong analytical and organizational skills to be comfortable with multi-tasking in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
· Must be a goal-oriented team player with excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Ability to travel to client sites throughout New England
· Experience with Salesforce beneficial but not required
