Job Title: Case Management Supervisor (Bilingual)
Department/Program: ORR residential programs Long Term Group Home 
Reports to: Program Director
Work location: Downtown
FLSA status: (exempt/salaried) 
SALARY:$28.78/hr. - $30.63/hr.

Position Summary
The Case Manager Supervisor is responsible for the quality of case management services and for all aspects of leading and supervising case management staff in one or more ORR Programs, scrutinizing all documentation, coordinating case management services, facilitating timely and safe family reunification, working closely with other agencies involved in the youth’s care, and
ORR staff.
 Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Interviews, hires, trains, supervises, and evaluates case management staff for the program. This includes conducting annual performance reviews, competency assessments and training support for supervisees. 
  • Oversees all aspects of the UAC case 
  • Submit detailed and thorough documentation in accordance with agency and ORR requirements.
  • Provides all services of a case manager for a small number of assigned cases (based on number of clients in care), which includes assessing the needs of UAC’s, developing and implementing the case management plan, and providing all the required documentation.
  • Ensures case file documentation is maintained in accordance with ORR and licensing requirements, and conducts internal chart reviews to monitor documentation compliance 
  • Represents high quality standards of child welfare in all documentation 
  • Collaborates effectively with other program staff to identify and implement individual service plans (ISP). 
  • Participate in team meetings, staff training and department meetings, as well as meetings with Case Management Supervisors across other programs for support and best practice information sharing 
  • Completes and signs off on timely and accurate timesheets and other personnel/administrative records as required. 
  • Participate in the practice and continuing implementation of the Sanctuary Model. (All positions) 
  • Other duties as assigned to ensure successful operation of program/department (All positions) 

Experience/Education Requirements

  • Master’s degree in behavioral sciences, human services or a social services field
  • This requirement may be substituted by a bachelors degree and at least 3 years of progressive employment experience that demonstrates supervisory and case management experience 
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish and English, written, read and verbal
  • Attained age 21 years or older before first day of employment in position (ORR)
We consider education, training, experience and demonstrated skills. This position requires ORR approval; exceptions to the minimum qualifications require ORR’s explicit written approval prior to hire and ORR may require supervision plans and additional training.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with immigrant populations
  • Knowledgeable about family preservation, kinship care, and/or general child welfare 
  • Experience writing professional, thorough assessment reports. 
  • ORR experience
  • Knowledge of Federal, State and agency regulations.
  • Knowledge of adolescent developmental issues, trauma, abuse and neglect, substance abuse and dependence, delinquency, peer influence, and related group and individual interventions. 
Other Requirements
  • Able to work shift hours and days, as assigned by Supervisor. Position may require work outside of usual work hours, such as evenings and weekends to support case management needs, as required by ORR. 
  • Available to support other Morrison ORR programs as needed 
  • Able to pass a comprehensive criminal history background investigation
  • Current CPR and Standard First Aid required 
  • 40 hours of required training per year
