With direction from the Managing Partner and Chief Recruitment Officer, we are looking to add a member to our talent acquisition team. The ideal candidate is someone with a proven background in sales and who can drive results and meet activity expectations. The Director of Recruitment will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for the Center City Philadelphia and Radnor offices. Passion and energy around sourcing, networking, and building relationships to help grow our team of Financial Advisors is key in this role.

Primary Responsibilities :

Sourcing & Selection

• Source and develop effective referral resources with Financial Representatives, office staff, develop productive centers of influence (COIs), and develop qualified lead strategies from a variety of sources (i.e. referrals, COIs, advertising, career fairs, social media, etc.)
• Actively participate in community clubs and organizations to promote and brand Northwestern Mutual to create awareness within the community
• Coordinate advertising and marketing strategies to include ads, direct mail, community events, etc.
• Develop relationships with other Northwestern Mutual recruiters to share leads and best practices
• Specific selection process accountability to include but not limited to screening candidates, conducting initial interviews, administering selection tools and guiding candidates through the selection process
• Review resumes, screen qualified candidates, and schedule initial interviews, in-depth interviews, and final interviews

Accountability, Tracking, and Analysis

• Report weekly recruiting activity and provide documented recruiting reports to the recruitment and leadership team
• Develop proficiency and use of Headquarters-supported software to maintain candidate databases and accurate records of prospects to ensure efficiency of the selection process
• Assist in the coordination of leadership team meetings and the preparation of activity/results reports
• Analyze recruiting ratios to identify inefficiencies in the selection process; establish and implement improvements
• May include the oversight of the onboarding process, including contract and licensing responsibilities

Qualifications

• 3-5 years professional work experience, preferably in sales, business development, recruiting or the financial services industry
• Experience with prospecting by generating leads via phone, social media professional network, and direct interactions
• Strong decision-making skills, proactiveness, and ability to work both collaboratively on a team and work independently
• Strong personal network and/or community involvement to leverage professional connections from a recruiting perspective
